What this route collects

The careers pages use an email link rather than a website application form. The website does not receive or store your CV. Your own email provider sends the message to [email protected], where it is handled within Cowran’s Microsoft 365 environment.

Information we use

We may use your name, contact details, CV, work history, qualifications, licences, location, availability, pay expectations and the information you choose to include. Please do not send bank details, passwords, a passport copy, National Insurance information or unrelated sensitive information with an initial application.

Why we use it

We use candidate information to assess suitability, communicate about the role, arrange interviews, check information you provide and make recruitment decisions. Information needed to verify identity, right to work or a legal obligation is requested only at the appropriate stage.

Who can see it

Access is limited to people who need it for recruitment, the relevant hiring team and approved service providers supporting secure email or business systems. Candidate information is not published or sold.

Retention and your rights

Information is kept only for as long as needed for the recruitment decision, related legal or record-keeping requirements, or a future-opportunity period agreed with you. Successful-candidate information that is needed for employment or engagement becomes part of the appropriate personnel or contractor record.

You may ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction where the law provides it, or object to relevant processing. Email [email protected]. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
