Cowran Estate Services led delivery of the pedestrian bridge and associated enabling works under A.E. Yates, managing the ground preparation, excavation, support construction, bridge placement, bolting and site interfaces required to complete the works. The concrete cascade and live-water activities belong to the wider scheme and are not attributed to Cowran.
The challenge
The bridgeworks had to be planned and delivered inside a broader drainage and watercourse operation, with lifting, access, ground preparation and neighbouring workstreams coordinated around the same site.
What Cowran managed and delivered
- Ground preparation and excavation
- Stone base and interlocking concrete-block supports
- Bridge placement and bolting
- Daily site and lifting-interface coordination
How delivery was controlled
- Bridge and lifting-interface planning
- Watercourse-interface coordination
- Drawing and RAMS control
- Completion evidence
Delivery outcome
Cowran completed the pedestrian bridge and enabling works as an integrated delivery operation within the wider National Highways scheme.
